Stage Set For India's Biggest Online Poker Series as Adda52 Announces 22 Crore GTD Season

Adda52 has announced details of its new summer online poker series that will run for 28 days from 8 June until 5 July.

A total of 252 different events will see players compete for an overall guaranteed prize pool of Rs. 22 crores, which will make it India's richest online poker series ever held.

The highlight of the series will be the AOPS Grand Finale with Rs. 3 crores guaranteed, and other big-ticket tourneys include the Rs. 1.5 Crore GTD Mini Main Event and Super High Rollers with R. 40 lakhs GTD.

Adda52 players can win entry to events without paying the full buy-in via various freerolls, satellites, qualifiers and launchers during the series. In addition to cash prizes, a luxury SUV and a roadster bike are among prizes for the top players of the new Leaderboards that will run alongside the series.

It has been planned in a way that everyone including those that are still under lockdown can make the most of their time and engage in this sport while winning mega prize pools at the same time. Various poker sites in India have been competing to offer the biggest prizes to players in recent times. In April, the PokerBaazi EndBoss tournament paid out Rs. 5.85 crores in prize money.

That remains India's richest-ever online tourney and broke the company's earlier record from March when the Game Changer tournament culminated with a Rs. 3.77 crores prize pool.

It remains to be seen if enough players will join the Adda52 Grand Finale to swell the total prizes on offer past the current record of Rs. 5.85 crores.
